Being “In-charge” or “Charged by…”?
Do we often find that our life seems to be out of control? We are ruled by outside forces such as the government, the media, our bosses our day to day obligations. These can sometimes overwhelm our life and we can become overburdened which leads to depression and for some to commit suicide.
Psalm 98, reminds us that we can turn to God for assurance for He is truly in-charge of the affairs of men for it states,
“The Lord is King…”, this speaks about God’s sovereignty.
“You are a King who loves what is right”, this speaks about His righteousness.
“They invoked the Lord and He answered”, this speaks about God’s faithfulness.
We are reminded that God ultimately desires to reign in each of our life. When we allow the Lord to be the King of our life, holiness, righteousness and faithfulness will follow. As such, we will experience peace, love and joy.
As we worship and praise God in praying the psalms, let us in faith submit our life to Him so that He can bring order and harmony into each moment and every activity of our life.
